TRAK-BALL CONTROLLERS AND SPARE PARTS

This trak-ball kit is used in Missile Command upright and cockpit versions as well as Atari Football (X's and O's) 2-player and 4-player models, Atari Basketball, Atari Baseball and Atari Soccer.  The kit includes the actual black trackball, two stainless steel encoder shafts and five oil lubed bearings.  The trak-ball is a brand new OEM part made by the exact same manufacturer who made the original trak-ball for Atari over 25 years ago.   Color, material, size and weight specifications are exact.

Brand new encoder wheel made from upgraded polyurethane material which will prevent the common problem of the teeth breaking off.  This encoder wheel is 100% compatible with 4.5" Maxi-Trackball units as used in Missile Command upright and cockpit versions as well as Atari Football (X's and O's) 2-player and 4-player models, Atari Basketball, Atari Baseball, Atari Soccer and various driving games.  Note: price is for one encoder wheel.

New reproduction optical board.  Uses custom made reproduction encoder devices.  The resistors used in this reproduction are higher tolerance metal film (1%) parts.  The circuit board itself is within original Atari spec, however exceeds spec with regard to plate thickness and edge routing.  This encoder wheel is 100% compatible with 4.5" Maxi-Trackball units as used in Missile Command upright and cockpit versions as well as Atari Football (X's and O's) 2-player and 4-player models, Atari Basketball, Atari Baseball, Atari Soccer and various driving games.

New reproduction aluminum top plate.  Precision laser cut and machined 6061 T6 aluminum part, finished with a nice line-grain texture.  100% compatible with Atari OEM trackball units as well as our reproduction version.

New reproduction aluminum bottom plate.  Precision laser cut and machined 6061 T6 aluminum part, finished with a nice line-grain texture.  100% compatible with Atari OEM trackball units as well as our reproduction version.

New reproduction acrylic top retainer plate.  Precision laser cut and machined acrylic part.  100% compatible with Atari OEM trackball units as well as our reproduction version.

This trak-ball roller kit includes 2 encoder shafts for 4.5" diameter trak-ball units made by Atari.  The shafts are made from stainless steel.

This trak-ball bearing kit includes 5 oil lubed bearing for 4.5" diameter trak-ball units made by Atari.  The bearings are quality OIL LUBED parts which have excellent free-spin.
