TEMPEST SPINNER CONTROLLER AND SPARE PARTS

Steel frame with precision laser cutouts and yellow (gold) zinc plating, upgraded urethane knob, gold anodized flywheel & cap, upgraded bearings, upgraded encoder board.  This is a drop-in replacement for OEM Tempest spinner controllers.

Made from 6061 aluminum - machined, drilled and tapped to original Atari spec. Gold anodized finish gives the part a very shiny gold appearance.  This part is 100% compatible with OEM controllers as well as the reproduction controller.

Made from 0.010" 304 stainless steel sheet metal - photo-chemical etched.  This part matches original Atari specification perfectly.  This part is 100% compatible with OEM controllers as well as the reproduction controller.

Made from machined 1018CR steel, finished with a clear zinc plating.  This part is 100% compatible with OEM controllers as well as the reproduction controller.

Oil lubed to original Atari spec.  These are smooth-running bearings for a perfect controller feel.  Note:  Will ONLY fit on reproduction controller.

Special silica-thickened, light viscosity, synthetic hydrocarbon grease intended for mechanical components that require a light level of damping (noise/chatter reduction).  This is the exact grease called out in Atari specifications with an added moly lubricant for better aluminum on aluminum lubrication.  It also has an added benefit of quieting down plastic gears!  Comes in a 10 gram tube - enough for several applications.
